SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - The search is on for a hit and run driver who crashed head-on into a truck in unincorporated Escondido.
It happened at the intersection of San Pasqual Valley Road and Idaho Avenue Thursday night.
The CHP says a man driving a 2005 GMC pickup truck lost control, hit a Toyota Tundra and then ran away, leaving empty beer cans behind.
He is described as Hispanic, 37 years old, 5 feet 6 inches tall, 200 pounds and bald.
The 44-year-old man driving the Tundra was taken to Palomar Medical Center with minor injuries.
