CAMPO (CNS) - The uncle of a man found dead Friday was arrested by sheriff's deputies Saturday, as they investigate a murder on the Campo Indian Reservation in rural East County.
Teddy Pablo, 23, was found dying by paramedics and deputies at a residence in the 36600 block of Highway 94, on the Campo Indian Reservation, at 6:40 p.m. Friday.
Patrick Pablo, 48, was taken arrested at the same place at about 6:30 a.m. Saturday, said San Diego Sheriff's Homicide Detail Lt. Glenn Giannantonio.
Giannantonio said the elder Pablo was to be booked into San Diego Central Jail on one count of suspicion of murder.
"The victim had traumatic injuries," said Giannantonio. "Lifesaving efforts were unsuccessful and the victim was pronounced dead."
Police said a motive for the killing was not known.
The Medical Examiner's office was investigating the cause of Teddy Pablo's death.
