SAN DIEGO (CNS) - A 12-year-old boy took his own life by shooting himself in the chest during a Boy Scout outing on Fiesta Island, authorities reported.Officers responding to the gunfire in the 1000 block of Fiesta Island Road shortly after 7:30 a.m. found the child in a tent, suffering from at least one self-inflicted gunshot wound, according to San Diego police. A pistol was nearby.
