The Foundation for Physical Therapy raised just under $50,000 at its 35th Anniversary Gala in Charlotte, North Carolina, during the American Physical Therapy Associations NEXT Conference and Exposition.

Using mobile fundraising technology, more than 165 supporters made contributions to exceed a fundraising challenge of $35,000 set in honor of the Foundations 35th Anniversary.

The initial challenge was met in less than half an hour and supporters went on to raise $44,750 by the end of the event. In addition, the silent auction raised $2,960 for a grand total of $47,710.

We are delighted by the generosity of everyone that made a donation in honor of the Foundations 35th Anniversary, said Foundation Board of Trustees President William G. Boissonnault, PT, DPT, DHSc, FAPTA, FAAOMPT. Reaching this milestone holds great significance to us as we look forward to advancing physical therapy for many more years to come.
