SAN DIEGO (CNS) - A 34-year-old man suffered a fractured femur when he crashed his bicycle into a car that pulled out of an apartment complex in front of him, a San Diego police officer said Sunday.
The crash occurred at 11:37 p.m. Saturday in the 3100 block of 30th Street, said San Diego police Officer David Stafford.
The man was riding southbound when a 29-year-old man driving a 2008 Toyota sedan pulled out of an apartment complex in front of the bicyclist, Stafford said.
"The bicyclist struck the car and suffered a fractured femur. He was transported to a local trauma center for treatment," the officer said.
The Traffic Division was investigating the crash, Stafford said.
