SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - The attorney for former San Diego Police Officer Christopher Hays says his client is denying any sexual involvement with a male prostitute.
A 24-year old has come forward, filing a claim against the city for damages. He's the ninth accuser to allege sexual wrongdoing by Hays.
CBS News 8 is not identifying the man because he alleges Hays forced him to perform oral sex. He claims it happened off El Cajon Boulevard and that Hays may not have known he was a male, because he was dressed as a woman.
Hays' attorney had this to say about the allegations:
“He hopes the city does not pay any sort of claim for this person because he didn't touch this person in any inappropriate way,” said Kerry Armstrong.
No criminal charges have been filed in connection with this latest accusation.
Hays has resigned from the department and has pleaded not guilty to charges involving four women.
