Julia Elizabeth Hills was on the back of a 2003 Harley Davidson "Fat Boy" headed south on state Route 79 near Pinezanita RV Park and Campgrounds when the driver swerved onto the wrong side of the road, swerved back to avoid an oncoming vehicle and lost control shortly before 4 p.m. Sunday, according to Cal Fire and the county Medical Examiner's Office.

Hills was thrown from the motorcycle and declared dead at the scene.
