'Womp, Womp': Lewandowski agitates, apologizes, agitates again

"Womp, womp." Or is it, "wah, wah"?  Perhaps even "wha, wha" (can we get a woot woot??).

All that aside, President Trump's former campaign manager has managed to create even more negative space around the Trump Administration's "zero tolerance" immigration policy.

During an interview on Fox News, Corey Lewandowski mocked either Democratic strategist Zac Petkana and/or a story about a child with Down Syndrome who was separated from her mother after they crossed the border illegally.

Lewandowski's comment was immediately condemned on social media.

In a subsequent appearance on Fox News, he offered an explanation, stating "an apology? I owe an apology to the children whose parents are putting them in a position that is forcing them to be separated."

Joining Jack & Joe to talk about the politics behind the Trump Administration's immigration and border enforcement policy (as well as the swirl of controversy) - The Weekly Standard's Andrew Egger.
