Friday, July 20 was the 49th anniversary of Apollo 11. It was the first time human beings landed on the moon with Neil Armstrong, who died 2012, being the first man to set foot on the moon and Colonel Buzz Aldrin being second. Fellow crew member Mike Collins was in the command module orbiting the moon– the ride home for all of them.

AM 760's Mark Larson chatted with Colonel Aldrin to reflect on such a monumental observance, and details on the possibility of the astronauts not coming home.
