SAN DIEGO — Weather will be pleasant through Saturday as pressure trends higher between storms. Temperatures will warm slightly and more sunshine will be available through Saturday afternoon before rain could make its way back on Saturday night.

The Week Ahead:

Another low pressure system headed towards the West Coast from the Northern Pacific will arrive Sunday. Winds will pick up again, gusty in the mountain and desert. Rain will last from Saturday night through Monday and will be mostly light. Rain accumulations 0.10"- 0.25" from the coast to inland and 0.2"-0.5" possible in the mountains between the two days.

Monday onward, temperatures will warm slightly under weak ridging. Things will stay fairly cool and pleasant through mid-week.

Mid-week next week, we could see another storm roll in. However models have become less certain about the storm's behavior. Expect temperatures to remain on the cooler side and winds to pick up.
